First Sight Preview

Just a little teaser of what I'm working on right now.

“No she wouldn't have.” I grumbled. “That woman took every rejection as a challenge. She just had to try harder. It was like she felt her personal pride was at stake. I marred her perfect record. Until she had managed to put one more notch on her belt with my name attached to it, she wouldn't be satisfied.”

“She's never given up?” Bella asked now.

“Never. She even still calls him from time to time and invites him up to come visit, alone.” Jasper said, chuckling.

“Well... what do you think she's gonna do now? She wouldn't keep trying even if she knows he's taken, would she?” Bella asked, her tone showing her irritation and I could sense some of her possessive instincts coming out.


I think I liked that...

“That's part of the problem...” I began, “I honestly have no idea how she's going to react. I mean, she and her sisters have never approached any of the other men in our family because they were all mated and it was accepted that they were taken and unavailable. I would like to hope that Tanya will respect the fact that I've found my mate and finally leave me be.”
