So and stuff

So, I'm going to start using this blog again, even though I'm not writing twifics anymore.  That's no reason to ditch the blog. 

I've been working pretty diligently on one single story.  I just hit 350 pages.  That's the longest I've ever stuck with one story, and I'm still going, so I'm fairly proud of myself.  I haven't posted any of it online yet though.  I've managed to determine from looking at other story's reviews that the Harry Potter ffic community tends to be a lot harsher and more judgemental that the twific community.  This probably has a lot to do with twilight being a fundimentally mary sue story, and hpotter, not.  Higher quality of writing tends to be mandated.

I don't doubt that there will still be plenty of people who appriciate the story I'm writing, but I also know that there will be some harsher reviews, and I don't want to risk some random comment putting a damper into my progress.

I tend to take crit well enough, but sometimes someone will make an off-hand comment on something that has actually been bugging me, personally, and it just makes that little nagging voice become so much louder and tends to bring a big screeching halt to my progress.

To avoid this, I'm just not going to post a damn thing till I'm done.... or until I give up.  Either way.  But it'll be nice for any readers who start to follow the story since there won't be any month long breaks between chapters.

Just wanted to vent my brain a little.  No other value to this post.
