Stories and stuff

I've got half of the next chapter of Half Breed written, but I've also been working on First Sight (shock and awe).  Probably got 2/3rds of it written.

I've also been actually thinking about Evenfall again.  Been a while since I even let my mind wander back to that one.  Been trying to stay focused, but I've learned that's nearly impossible for me.  That is why I have like 8 consecutive stories going, after all.

Should I post a bit of teaser-ness from First Sight or Half Breed, even though I don't have the whole chapters written yet?

So, on a totally different topic, I was thinking about what the characters look like in my mind.  So Edward really does look a lot like Rob Pattinson in my head.  It was like - when he was picked for the role and I first saw him I was like - yup. That's Edward.  It just slipped into place in my head perfectly.

The OTHER characters, however... not so much.

Kristen Stewert just does not do it for Bella for me.

Esme works for me... to an extent.  Carlisle's movie actor... so-so.  I think he's growing on me.

Alice - not even close.  I think her real name is Ashley Greene, right?  Yeah - she just doesn't fit my mental image of Alice at all.  Jasper isn't there for me either.

So anyway, I was digging through my OLD cd collection the other day because my daughter was digging through the cabinet where I keep them, and I stumbled across all of my old Bush CDs.  When I was in highschool I fucking WORSHIPED Gavin Rossdale.  I mean, seriously.  I had a shrine to the man in my locker.  And it occured to me that my mental image of Jasper is totally Gavin Rossdale. lol...  Like - he is who I imagine Jasper looking like.  Totally.  But you know - blond.  Back in my high school days (You know... a DECADE ago), he had these blond highlights going on, and that's what I see in my head.

Anyway, am I just a total freak for that?  lol...

I also happen to think it's totally effing hot that he's such an awesome dad now.  I love that he hooked up with Gwen Stefani - I was totally in love with No Doubt when I was in highschool.  I never would have expected the two of them to hook up and get married.  But I love it now.

If I ever model Jasper, I'm totally using Gavin Rossdale as a base.

Btw, I've started on an Alice model.  Edward is basically done - rigged and everything - but I wanted to get some other characters to go with him before I do renders.
